Antique Scherenschnitte Cupid antique linen with lots of wear to

with lots of wear to to the covers especially

I'd probably just fill it with assorted packets of sugar and sugar substitutes to keep on the counter and throw on the breakfast table when having company

I believe they were soda fired

and I like it nearly as much from the back as the front

quite an extraordinary thing

Antique Scherenschnitte Cupid antique linen with lots of wear toHard to imagine a more lovely valentine than this antique cut paper cupid with wonderful silhouette and finely done bow and arrow pointing straight toward his own name, a charming example of the art of Scherenschnitte, which always makes me marvel! Cut of white paper and adhered to tan (natural colored) light weight card, just right, perfect for popping in a small frame just as it is. Very good antique condition. 2 1 2" x 2 5 8".
