I have seen images of orange canisters just like these topped with highly stylized pointy lids ending in exaggerated bulbous tips
with just a couple of loose/broken pieces of grass at the very outside edge
Unmarked but I believe Japanese
with an approximately 2 inch span between the its tips
this one features a wonderful graphic black and umber bird and fish design by Johanne Gerber
