but when I found it I thought to myself 'why would anyone go out and buy a new mirror when there are ones like this out there

A faint stamp on the sole of one indicates they were made in Italy which also makes sense, as who makes better shoes, or boots, than the Italians! The level of craftsmanship on these is pretty outstanding, down to the metal clinkers tricounis around the soles, distinguishing them as mountain boots, c. 1930s 40s I believe. Each approx 3 7
